Springer held this year’s event, A Springer Celebration on April 12, 2005. The Drees Pavilion provided a beautiful setting for the festivities. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres & cocktails, a silent auction, dinner, and the presentation of the Springer Champion Award to Mr. Matth. Toebben of Villa Hills. |
Mr. Toebben received the Springer Champion Award for his demonstrated passion and commitment to the education of children. Mr. Toebben is grandfather to one Springer graduate and two current Springer students. Well-known throughout the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati business community, his dedication to education is especially evident in the many scholarship programs he funds for local colleges and schools including Springer.
Chairs for A Springer Celebration were Mark and Jenny Lefke & Vince and Lydia Michels. Jim Scott, noted radio personality, joined Springer as emcee for the evening.
A Springer Celebration netted $92,000! Proceeds from the evening support Springer’s financial aid program. A big thank you to all who helped make this important fundraising endeavor so successful!
