Students in Mrs. Niemiec’s class have been practicing using the “Whisper Phone”, a teaching tool that helps students hear the speech sounds (phonemes) and words they say, directly back into their own ears.  The ability to hear and discriminate what they hear is greatly improved.   Using the   "Whisper Phone" allows students to work independently and provides auditory feedback necessary for improvement. In addition, softer voices equal a more quiet and conducive learning environment for others.
