Chicago illustrator Molly Zakrajsek made her second visit to Springer as our 2011 Artist in Residence. She and a group of 22 Upper School students painted a 50-foot mural in a lower level hallway, extending the mural created during her 2010 visit. Molly also visited with each class in the school, talking with them about the use of symbols and the value of public art.
