PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS

  • Enhance study skills and help students understand their learning issues
  • Summer programs instill confidence and prepare students for the new school year
  • Referrals for individual tutoring

Students increase their learning strategies through morning and afternoon summer classes, referrals for individual tutoring, and classes on study skills and organizational techniques.

Adventures in Summer Learning 2010 was a huge success! One hundred fifty students enrolled in Adventures, Springer's four-week summer program. In the morning program, students improved basic skills in language arts, math, and handwriting while also practicing their social skills. The "Fun with Friends" afternoon classes and activities included games, playing musical instruments, making tie-dyed shirts, and meeting new friends!

Since 1992, Adventures in Summer Learning has helped children entering grades 1-8 become more confident learners and improve their basic skills. In a nurturing environment, your child works with instructors trained to help children with learning difficulties. Instruction begins at your child's level and builds on what your child can do!
