ALUMNI AMBASSADOR AWARD
Two Springer alumni students, Benjamin Sweeney and Christina Ryall, were the recipients of Springer's Alumni Ambassador Award, given at this year's Annual Dinner on May 15th. Ben and Christina were recoginized for their ongoing advocacy and commitment to Springer and for their participation in a new Springer awareness video that replicates a similar role both had in a previous Springer video.
Ben is going into his junior year at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in downtown Cincinnati. He is majoring in instrumental music, specifically jazz guitar. This summer, Ben wil be attending CCM Jazz Band Camp, receiving some intensive jazz guitar instruction with his teacher, working at Slims restaurant, and cycling.
Christina is a sophomore at the Art Institute of Indianapolis, majoring in graphic design. She works at Artesian & Masterpiece during the school year, helping children with beading, pottery, and mosaics. There she also sells fashion merchandise and fine art work by local artists. Christina broadened her photographic resume this year after taking senior portraits for high school students. This summer, she plans to find a part-time job in Cincinnati, so that she can spend more time with family and friends.
