News & Views is a semiannual publication of Springer School and Center. The newsletter is published in the winter and summer of each year, and it features news pertaining to Springer's Board of Trustees and activities in Springer's Day School and Center.
For the past 15 years, April has meant Magnolia Time at Springer and this year is no exception. Magnolia has invited all her family and friends to don their party duds and meet her in town for a lively time. Actually, "town" is Springer's gym, all dudded up with wooden sidewalks, a chuck wagon, some gunslingers and molls, a water trough for the horses and a saloon where you can wet your whistle and bid to your heart's content on a whole variety of irresistible goods and services.
The Party Posse has worked fearlessly to rustle up a fun time and from the looks of things at this point, they've done a right fine job. After checking in with the wagon master to get their bid paddles, the guests can have their pictures taken with the local prospector or dance hall lady. Then, mosey on over and buy a vase, plate or other glassware handpainted by the young-uns from the school; or a surprise saddlebag of goodies may be more to your likin'.
