Who is eligible for Adventures in Summer Learning?
Students entering 1-8 grade are eligible. The program is designed for students who might be struggling in their classroom or need extra support over the summer to succeed the following year.
What does Adventures in Summer Learning cost?
The fee for the Morning Adventures Program (4-week program for students entering grades 1 through 6) is $1,600, with a $200 discount for early registration. The fee for Fun With Friends (extended day for students attending the morning Adventures program) is $480. The fee for the Afternoon Classes (2-week classes in math and writing for students entering grades 7 and 8) is $400.
What is the schedule for the programs?
Morning Adventures lasts from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Fun with Friends runs from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m., and Afternoon Math and Writing Classes are held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Who teaches the classes?
Members of Springer's faculty facilitate the programs. Their expertise in understanding students who learn differently and providing strategies for success is paramount!
Who attends the program?
Students from all over the greater Cincinnati area attend Adventures in Summer Learning. An IEP or educational evaluations are not needed to attend the summer program.
What will I learn about my child from the program?
During the last week of the Adventures program, parents will have a 20-minute conference with their student’s teaching team. You will receive work samples and a report containing information about the strategies that were helpful for improving your student’s academic performance.
