Middle School Science Teacher

Springer faculty members are responsible for leading the growth and development of Springer students. Faculty members plan, execute and differentiate instruction so that students learn content as well as learning strategies. Typically in classrooms of 15 students or less Middle School faculty members lead large and small group instruction for students in Grades 6-8 and are supported by an Instructional Assistant. Faculty members collaborate with members of their respective teams, supporting therapists, staff, and the administrators to consistently make decisions in the best interests of students. Middle School Literature Teacher

Springer faculty members are responsible for leading the growth and development of Springer students. Middle School Math Teacher

Middle School Assistant

Reporting to the Middle School Director the Middle School Assistant supports the smooth daily operation of the Middle School including but not limited to:

  • Addressing student behaviors; leading and supporting livestreaming for students, faculty and instructional assistants; covering classroom needs and coordinating duty coverages.
  • Posting and updating meeting agendas; taking meeting minutes; preparing notifications for faculty, staff and families; scheduling conferences; tracking and preparing documents.
  • Supporting transitions for new faculty, staff and students; providing support, guidance and mentorship for Instructional Assistants
  • Managing and ordering supplies and equipment; decorating common spaces

Elementary Teacher

Lower School Teachers are responsible for leading the growth and development of Springer students. Teachers are responsible for planning, executing, and differentiating instruction on a daily basis. Typically in classrooms of 12 students or less Teachers are supported by an Instructional Assistant and lead large and small group instruction. Teachers collaborate with members of their respective teams, supporting therapists, staff, and the School’s leadership to consistently make decisions in the best interests of students. Instructional Assistant

Instructional Assistants are paired with a classroom teacher in the Lower School and in the Middle School. Instructional Assistants support student academic, social, and behavioral plans as determined by the classroom teacher, department, team and/or organization in ways which are consistent with Springer’s mission, values, and best practices. School Receptionist

Development Coordinator

The Development Coordinator assists and leads a variety of functions in the day-to-day management of the Development Office. Reporting to the Advancement Director the coordinator addresses a broad scope of needs related to project management, special event preparation and community engagement. Communications Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator assists and leads a variety of functions in the day-to-day management of the marketing, internal and external communications for the organization. Reporting to the Advancement Director the coordinator addresses a broad scope of needs related to creating, coordinating and implementing, engaging marketing materials for the organization.
