Lower School Instructional Assistant

Lower School Instructional Assistants are paired with a Lower School classroom teacher in a classroom of no more than 12 students. Instructional Assistants support student academic, social, and behavioral plans as determined by the classroom teacher, department, team and/or organization in ways which are consistent with Springer’s mission, values, and best practices. Administrative Assistant (part-time)
Springer School and Center seeks an experienced, qualified Administrative Assistant to support ongoing community programming and outreach. Springer provides workshops and expert support to thousands of students, parents, and professionals in the tri-state area. This position supports the workshops and events delivered by the Center. Qualified candidates will have experience with administrative tasks, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, database entry, financial reporting, communicating with potential program registrants, and online marketing. Elementary Long-Term Substitute Teacher (mid-October through December)
Springer School and Center seeks qualified candidates for a long-term substitute teaching position from mid-October through December. This position teaches reading, math, literature and science in a self-contained classroom of roughly 12 fourth and fifth grade students. Teachers are supported by a full-time Instructional Assistant as well as an interdisciplinary team consisting of the other classroom teachers, a speech pathologist, occupational therapist, school psychologist, and counselor. Qualified candidates will have experience working with students diagnosed with learning disabilities such as dyslexia as well as an understanding of the importance that the role relationship-building plays in the learning process. Substitute Teacher
Currently seeking Substitute teachers to work across all levels and subjects on an as needed basis. Daily rate is $105. Experience teaching students with learning disabilities preferred.
