SPRINGER HIGH SCHOOL
Springer High School is transforming a historic campus into a new home designed to support students with ADHD, dyslexia and executive function challenges.
The historic Doherty campus was built in 1906, serving the community as an educational institution for more than a century. Springer High School is proud to take residence in the newly renovated space in the fall of 2027, providing the region's best education for students with ADHD, dyslexia and executive function challenges. Springer High School is the place where young people are empowered to make and achieve ambitious goals—empowered to lead successful lives!

A New Home for Springer High School
The historic Doherty Campus is located at 2726 Johnston Place, less than a mile from our well-known Hyde Park campus. It features three main buildings, and several outdoor gathering and recreation areas on a total of four and a half acres.
Renovations begin in July 2027 to upgrade several key areas on campus, including Academic Hall 1, Academic Hall 2 and the Gymnasium.
Academic Hall 1
The iconic entry to Academic Hall 1 features a distinctive clock tower and covered breezeway, for a welcoming entrance perfect for Springer's small-community atmosphere. Sleek updated signage will be in place for the start of the 2027-28 school year. Click the image to view the full entry with clock tower.
Renovated classrooms in Academic Hall 1 will house the majority of activity and provide ample classroom space for the 2027-28 school year.

Beautiful, Secure Entry
A beautiful, secure entrance to Academic Hall 1 includes an enclosed lobby leading to the reception desk and administrative offices. This is where guests will enter the building. A feature wall stylishly pinpoints Springer's place in the region.
Interior Lobby
The interior student lobby located just inside Academic Hall 1 displays a colorful celebration of Springer's rich history in the region, with roots dating back to 1887.

Updated Classrooms
Renovations transform existing classrooms into spaces meant for teenage scholars to explore, innovate and collaborate. Furnishings vary room-to-room.
Science Lab
A state-of-the-art science laboratory features curved tables with space for equipment and elbow room. In addition to supporting collaboration among students, the orientation and design of the tables provides an uninterrupted line of sight to the front of the room.

Art & STEAM Lab
Many of our students’ greatest strengths and interests are the arts. Springer High School students have an opportunity to take elective courses that leverage that passion. With an incredible amount of natural light and raised ceilings, this lab will bring out the very best in our students.
Media Center
Housed in Academic Hall 2, the media center renovations will allow both independent study and small-group collaboration. The bright space opens up to an outdoor patio for students to gather and socialize.

Patio
Just outside the media center in Academic Hall 2, an updated, partially covered outdoor patio provides essential outdoor time, fresh air and a gathering space for friendships to flourish.
Gymnasium
Home of the Springer Eagles, the updated gymnasium is the place where school spirit soars! Athletics and activities will continue to grow in the full-size gym.
