Our Pride and Joy
The graduating class of 1986 is 45 strong - the largest in the history of Springer School. There are many ways to describe a graduating class: 9 girls and 36 boys; 32 students leaving for elementary placement and 13 for high school; 12 students enrolling in public schools, 20 in private and 13 in parochial; or 38 enrolling in schools in Ohio, 4 in Kentucky, 1 in Pennsylvania, 1 in Florida, and 1 in Minnesota. But while these descriptions tell of the diversity of our graduating class, they do not capture the most significant information.
One could also speak to the fact that graduation from Springer is a statement of the love and dedication of parents and families who made available an education tailored to a student's particular needs. Graduation also reflects the patience and skills of the professionals at Springer who have continuously fine tuned the balance between support and pressure. This balance results in positive progress.
