Springer Annual Report 2018-19

This is the story of Sue, a typical student at Springer School and Center. You’ll see how difficult school was for Sue before she came to Springer, and how Sue’s mother will attend a center program and, through the admission process, find that Springer will be the right place for Sue. Surrounded by adults who understand learning disabilities and students who struggle with the same kinds of difficulties, Sue will come to know herself as a learner. She will gain strategies for learning in new ways and technology tools that will help her achieve in the classroom and at home. Sue will grow in confidence and in her ability to advocate for herself. These new skills will serve her well in her next school and for the rest of her life.
