Inattention: A Common Thread Across Childhood Diagnoses
September 29, 2025
Parenting is one of the most important (and sometimes most overwhelming) roles we take on in life. Every parent wants to do their best, and it’s easy to feel stuck, unsure, or exhausted trying to navigate the ups and downs of raising children - especially when you feel like you’ve tried every strategy out there.

That’s where parent coaching comes in. It is a personalized, collaborative process designed to support you, the parent, so you can show up as the parent you want to be.
Through reflective conversation and mindful tools, coaching supports you in:
- Strengthening self-care
- Noticing self-talk, patterns, and behaviors
- Shifting from “What am I doing wrong?” to “What’s possible here?”
- Aligning your choices with your values and vision for your family
Together, we’ll explore your unique challenges, goals, and strengths. Coaching empowers you to discover solutions that feel authentic and sustainable for your family.
How does parent coaching work?
The way I see it, where we are in this moment did not happen overnight so sustainable, positive change we want to create will also take time. Coaching provides that steady, compassionate support along the way.
We’ll meet weekly for one-on-one or couples/co-parent sessions. With guidance, you’ll increase awareness of how you’re showing up as a parent and we’ll talk through how to make intentional, doable shifts that feel right for you. Whether you want to improve communication, set boundaries, reduce stress, or simply feel more grounded in daily life, coaching helps you move forward step by step.
What can you expect from a parent coaching session?
In our first session, we’ll uncover both your challenges (which often feels like a chance to vent) and what’s already working (which sparks hope).
Each session that follows is a conversation building on your strengths, centered on self-care and aligned with the priorities and vision you hold for your family.
Through this mindfulness based approach, you’ll begin to notice the way you’re showing up more clearly. This awareness is what allows you to shift patterns and guide your children with greater intention.
Depending on your needs, we might explore topics such as:
- Improving sibling relationships
- Managing your own stress
- Setting healthy boundaries
- Navigating screen time
- Cultivating more joy in daily routines
You’ll leave each session with actionable steps, fresh perspectives, and the reassurance that you’re not alone on this journey.
Why choose parent coaching?
- It’s personalized. Coaching focuses on what works best for you and your family’s unique situation.
- It’s strengths-based. Coaching helps you recognize your natural abilities and build on them.
- It’s non-judgmental. Coaching provides a safe space to be honest about your struggles without feeling shame or pressure.
Who can benefit from parent coaching?
Parent coaching is for any parent or caregiver who wants to feel more confident, calm, and connected - and is open to growth and positive change. It’s for those who sense that things can be different, even if they’re not sure how yet.Whether it’s morning routines, teen rebellion, screen time, homework battles, or the general overwhelm of daily life, parent coaching offers a conscious, mindful approach to communication and intentional choices - supporting your growth as a parent and guiding you toward a calmer, more connected, values-aligned family life.
Change is possible, and together we’ll take it one small step at a time.
