Artist in Residence Amy Parks and selected Middle School students displayed the artworks created during Amy's residency and talked about what they had learned. The reception was attended by Middle School students and parents of the students involved.

Artist in Residence

Artist in Residence Amy Parks guided art classes in creating "unconventional art." The students used unusual items to paint in acrylics - items such as silk flowers, rubber toys and even a plastic dinosaur. Amy worked with a small group of Middle School students to create larger cooperative works in poured acrylic paint.
